Talking
Point Graphics, Inc. entered the
presentation business in 1996 when its principal partners
collaborated on a legal exhibit relating to the Oklahoma
City Bombing. After that, word spread quickly about these
guys who were pushing PowerPoint to its limits and the rest,
as they say, is history. In
1999, the partners opened Talking Point Graphics Inc.
The
company is based in Louisville, Kentucky.
Gary
P. Guthrie
Chief Executive Officer
Gary
Guthrie co-founded Talking Point Graphics. His responsibilities
include presentation design and development, client service
and strategic planning. Gary Guthrie's background includes
15 years as President of Edinborough Rand Inc., a broadcast
consulting firm where he was the considered "father
of the 'Classic Rock'" radio format by 'USA Today',
consulting the format in 20+ major markets where it became
a perennial ratings winner. His broadcast skills also led
to an ADDY for promo campaigns in Seattle and a "Best
of Show" in Memphis, and two Grammy nominations for
his work with Streisand & Diamond's "You Don't
Bring Me Flowers."
In 1996,
Gary was approached by a national law firm to
assist them with their multimedia and marketing graphics
development and once he got a taste of how easily he could
apply broadcast production techniques to PowerPoint, Gary
was hooked.
Gary
has spoken at Legal Tech on "Creating High-Impact Presentations"
at their 1998 and 1999 conventions. He also presented "Electronic
Presentation Skills" at the Legal Marketing Association's
Annual Conference 2000.

don't make bagels, there) with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Communications.
